WECU Surveillance.com products are a 1-year from date of purchase-limited warranty (Some exceptions apply). We operate a policy of new for old replacement for products returned under warranty. Products misused, Damaged or warranty-expired may be repaired at our discretion on payment in advance.
Most products purchased at the WECU Surveillance.com web site are returnable for credit subject to the following conditions:
- Returns must be made within 14 days of purchase date, some Exceptions apply.
- Returned products must be in their original packaging.
- Only products in new unused condition can be returned for credit.
- Customers returning products are responsible for all return freight charges.
- Products returned for credit must be of current product design & specifications.
- Special order, and non standard products are NOT returnable.
- All sales are final; absolutely no cash refunds will be awarded.
- All custom built / NON-stocking or Built to order Digital Video Recorders and Digital Video systems are non-returnable for credit.
Warranty returns are subject to the following return policy:
- All items must be shipped freight prepaid to a WECU Surveillance.com USA Distribution Center. E-mail us the Invoice and Product # and we will inform you where to ship it back to.
- Items returned under warranty will be for exchange only, no credit will be issued.
- Warranty replacements are subject to inspection for misuse prior to being replaced.
- Obsolete equipment returned for warranty will be replaced with a product of similar value.
- Special order and non standard items are NOT returnable for credit.
- Your replacement products will be shipped back to you freight free within the Continental US.
Compatibility
Our products are compatible with 99.9% of the systems on the market today but from time to time there are unfortunately some compatibility issues, we strongly recommend if you do not know if your system is compatible with our products, contact the manufacturer of your system and ask.
A few examples would be:
- Some systems on the market today have compatibility issues with PTZ cameras, they specify a protocol but in the fine print: Only compatible with XXXX cameras. Please read the fine print on your system.
- Some systems have a 9 pin DIN connector, ours uses BNC; There are 9 pin DIN to BNC connectors available however, we will not be held responsible for improper pin out connections resulting in camera or system failure, we do not recommend using these type of connectors.
- Some RS232-485 controlling units cannot call up a Preset (64), resulting in the camera not responding to Pan, Tilt, or zoom functions
The best thing to do is check first. If there is a compatibility issue like the ones above and you want to return the product within 14 days for credit, a 20% restocking fee will apply. After 14 days there are no returns on any items. Product being returned must contain all parts and accessories in the original packaging. If product is damaged or anything is missing there will be NO refund issued and product will be shipped back to you at your expense.
- Compatibility is not guaranteed. There is a 20% restocking fee for all non-defective products returned. This includes problems with: compatibility, driver/software conflicts, improper installation, etc.
DVR Cards
All our DVR cards have minimum PC requirements, if these requirements are not met and the DVR cards are inoperable, there is NO REFUND or CREDIT given. It is up to the client to provide the proper environment with the proper specifications listed on our website. We will make all efforts to provide the minimum PC specs to the client but cannot be held responsible if the client neglects to adhere to the specifications.

- THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES. EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
- IN NO EVENT SHALL WECU Surveillance.com BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OF PROFITS OR BENEFITS, INDIRECT, SPECIAL. CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE.
- WECU Surveillance.com / WECU Surveillance Security Cameras and its affiliates will not be held responsible for losses or damage incurred do to failure of equipment sold regardless of reason for failure.
- To include and not limited to theft on premises monitored or any other monetary damages thought to be protected by surveillance equipment.
- Purchaser and end user accepts full responsibility for any law suits incurred due to invasion of privacy.
- Any sound recordings may come under penalty of law depending on Country / State / Province or region equipment is being used in.
- User is responsible for understanding and abiding by all local laws regarding the placement or use of video or sound recordings.
- Please check your local laws regarding these issues before purchasing and installing any sound or video recording equipment from this site.
- By placing an order, the Purchaser represents that he/she is of legal age to receive the products ordered and that the products will be used in a legal and lawful manner in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, Provincial and Local laws.
Payment:
- All purchase order delinquent accounts will be subject to a 30% APR finance charge of (0.083% / day) plus collection and legal costs if incurred.
- Purchase orders are accepted by Government entities only for non-custom built, off the shelf items (Some exceptions apply).
Delivery:
- Unless otherwise noted, delivery will be made F.O.B. USA or designee, (continuing on these terms and conditions of sales as WECU Surveillance.com.) to be paid by purchaser. Risk of loss passes to purchaser upon delivery by WECU Surveillance.com or designee to common carrier or delivery service. All orders are shipped ADULT SIGNATURE REQUIRED!
We do not ship C.O.D and all orders are paid in advance before leaving our warehouses.
If you have any problems with a product you have purchased from WECU Surveillance.com we urge you to contact our technical support staff before deciding to return the product. If no solution is reached, an RMA # will be issued.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) policy as follows:
- RMA # is only good for 10 days from the date of issue.
- No merchandise may be returned without prior written authorized RMA #.
- All returned merchandise must have the RMA# written on the outside of the box.
- WECU Surveillance.com reserves the right not to replace product until the original equipment is returned from the customer.
- All returns must be shipped prepaid (No COD Accepted.)
- "No Fault Found" RMA items can be returned for credit with a 20% restocking fee or shipped back at purchaser's expense.
- RMA items will be repaired or replaced at WECU Surveillance.com's discretion.
- BE SURE TO CLEARLY MARK THE RMA NUMBER ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKING BOX, OTHERWISE YOUR RETURN WILL BE REFUSED. FREIGHT COLLECT OR COD RETURNS WILL ALSO BE REFUSED.

Restocking charge:
- If merchandise is returned within 14 days there will be a twenty percent (20%) restocking charge, unless WECU Surveillance.com has made other arrangements. Any merchandise returned or exchanged must be approved by WECU Surveillance.com.
Products Prior to Return of Merchandise
- We have a strict policy of 14 day from date of purchase for the return of merchandise for Credit. If the merchandise is returned in the original boxes with all parts and accessories unopened and unused within the 14 days of purchase, a credit will be issued to your credit card or whatever means you paid for the merchandise. After 14 days there are no returns on any items.
- Credits are issued within 2 weeks after merchandise is returned to our offices. If you installed the product(s), we cannot accept credit returns and will repair or replace any defective merchandise for the term of the warranty. Some exceptions will apply. After 30 days only warranty product will be accepted for repair or replacement.
The Customer / Client is responsible for Any and All shipping, handling, border taxes, fees, levies which are NON-refundable!
Limitation of Liability:
- WECU Surveillance.com will not be responsible for consequential damage to the system or its components caused by either internal or external equipment, shorted connections or components not installed or obtained from WECU Surveillance.com.
- WECU Surveillance.com shall not be liable for damage to painted surfaces due to physical abuse, excessive use, liquids, chemicals spilled upon or inside the components including oxidation or corrosion to components caused by exposure to salt air or extremely harsh environments.
- limited warranty also does not cover any losses or damages that may occur as result of:
- Shipping or improper installation or maintenance.
- Misuse, neglect or improper environment.
- Any repair, modification, adjustment, or installation of options/parts by anyone other than a
WECU Surveillance.com authorized service center, excessive/inadequate electrical power surges or other irregularities.
Legal Costs:
- The purchaser agrees to pay all invoices including freight within the terms of the sale and further agrees to pay all collection costs and attorney fees necessary to collect past due amounts.
- Our products may not be used to violate the privacy rights of others, or to access or intercept electronic communications in violation of privacy statutes. Video Surveillance may be illegal in certain states / countries. In no way will WECU Surveillance.com its subsidiaries, employees, or partners be held responsible for inappropriate use of these products.
IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER TO CONSULT LEGAL COUNSEL FOR THE INTERPRETATION OF ANY LAWS APPLICABLE TO THE AREA OF INTENDED USE OF THESE PRODUCTS. Please see Security Camera Laws.
