• The CD56NV-IR camera is ready to go right out of the box and is set to Pelco D protocol, more information is listed below for setting up and changing the CD56NV-IR's protocol and baud rate. If you do not have a compatible controller or a controlling device which does not have a "Call preset Function" button, you will not be able to set up the CD56NV-IR's functions from the main menu of the camera, if this is the case please use our joystick controller for correct operation of the CD56NV-IR

• A. In layman terms... WDR is an acronym for Wide Dynamic Range, it allows foreground images to appear clear against brightly lit backgrounds, for example when someone is standing in front of you and there is a brightly lit background you can usually only make out the black silhouette of the person, WDR – Wide Dynamic Range calms the lighting in the background down and adjusts the lighting in the foreground so the persons image becomes clear and recognizable within the FOV – Field of View.
