Quick Q & A
Q. I am getting a 40 VA power reading from the video ouput from the CD56NV-IR, what is going on and how do I stop this from happening?
A. This is common on vehicular mounted applications when the shockmount base is not used, the camera is grounding out on the vehicle, please order the shockmount base and this will solve the issue.
Q. Do I need the shockmount base?
A. It is higly recommend that you use the shockmount base on vehicular appllications, the shockmount base serves 2 purposes, the first is it stops the vibration from the vehicle entering into the camera and secondly it stops the camera from being grounded on the vehicle, the shockmount base will extend the life of the CD56NV-IR PTZ camera considerably.
