This shock mount base is made of steel and chemically bonded rubber giving your CD56NV-IR and ASH56NV-IR camera the support it needs when mounting these 2 cameras to a vehicle. Color: Black only
The B056 shock mount extends the life of the CD56NV-IR PTZ and ASH56NV-IR PTZ camera significantly for 2 reasons:
- The B056 shock mount absorbs vibration much like the shock absorbers on your vehicle by taking the bounce out of the ride instead of directing the vibrations to the cameras internals.
- The B056 acts as a ground insulator so the camera does not ground out on the vehicle. You will know if it is grounded on the vehicle or not if you get a shock when you touch the Video BNC connection and or you volt test the BNC connection and find there is a 40VA reading on your meter. A improper grounded camera will result in equipment failure, and will void warranties.
